God's New Creation

Several years ago, Reader’s Digest named actor Tom Hanks to be the most trusted man in America. Upon receiving this “award,” Hanks made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman and was asked what he thought he might have done to become so trustworthy in the eyes of the public. Hanks responded and said, “Well Dave, I’m honest. I’m honest because I always tell people that I’m lying to them. After all, I am in show business!” How “honest” is that? Could you really label someone as the most trusted man in America just because he always tells you that he is lying to you?
